Rockfish, Bluefish and Perch All Biting

The sun was just on the rise as I pulled into Bodkin Creek southeast of where the Brewerton and Craighill Channels angle together in the upper Chesapeake Bay.  As I turned toward Old Bee Point, I saw Jack waving me over to Warren’s pier.

Both anglers were excited about catching some nice rockfish with light spinning tackle.  We headed north and started fishing some shoal channels.  It wasn’t long before Warren put the first rockfish in the box.

Warren and Jack are good fishing buddies and have fished the Chesapeake Bay for over 50 years.  They both were a pleasure to guide.

The pictures below tell the rest of the story.
